How many objects are in the collection?
There are currently about 400,000 objects and items of archive material in the North Lincolnshire Museums collection. The collection reflects the geology, natural history, archaeology and local history of the area. Do you have a full collections database I can search?
Not all of the collections are available on our online collections database. Curatorial staff are adding records all the time. If you cannot find what you are looking for please Contact Us.
What has happened to the Image Archive?
The North Lincolnshire Museums Image Archive has now closed. North Lincolnshire Museums will no longer provide a print service.
The photographic collection is being made available though our CollectionsOnline database. Records are being checked and added all the time. Where possible, images will be published under a Creative Commons licence and available for download free of charge for personal use. If you cannot find what you are looking for please Contact Us.
