Bailiff's Wand of Office

Description

Tudor Bailiff's Wand of Office, made of bog oak. Marked with a shield and 'R.T.' for Sir Robert Tyrwhitt of Kettleby, Vice Admiral of England and bailiff of the king's manor of Barton Upon Humber under Henry VIII. Found c.1930 by Captain William Stamp.
