Dress comprising bodice, skirt and bustle. BODICE: Pruple with black pinstripes. Black beaded buttons fasten the full length CF, although it actually fastens with hooks underneath. Full length sleeves. Elaborate black cord and bead decoration down both sides of the front, around the tops of the sleeves and the cuffs. Cream lining. SKIRT: Purple with black pinstripes and black lining. Full length. Pocket on left hand side and an opening which is presumably the fastening, although there is no sign of any fastening method. Narrow black velvet edging to bottom of skirt. Very large and unshaped. BUSTLE: Black with large bow in the centre. The upper half is decorated with black fringing and narrow velvet ribbon, while the rest consists of black lace with heay cord and bead decoration.
