The Crowle Cup

Description

Four fragments of an enamelled copper alloy cup decorated with champleve enamel. Three fragments join, including one with a section of rim, are decorated and from the body of the cup. The fourth piece is the circular base. Most of the enamel now missing. Decorative scheme consists of circular panels containing three armed whirligig's. From the same class of enamelled vessel soldier's souvenirs as the Winterton Cup.
