Gold Openwork Pendant
Description
Gold openwork pendant, circular with a cross in the centre, with probable ancient repair. Border formed by three concentric bands of beaded wire. Cross formed by lengths of beaded wire with a large granule at the centre. Each quarter of the cross contains a C-shaped length of beaded wire. Early Anglo-Saxon Final Phase, late 6th - 7th century.
